CL:AIRE Material Management Plan Secured At Ravenhead Quarry

Aerial view of ravenhead quarry

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully secured a CL:AIRE Material Management Plan (MMP) at Ravenhead Quarry in Skelmersdale. This milestone allows for the sustainable reuse of Class 4 fill material as part of our ongoing commitment to environmentally responsible operations.

As part of the preliminary quarry restoration work, we have approval to accept a total of 45,000m3 of material, contributing to the restoration of the quarry and a circular economy.

Engineering will now take place at the quarry before we commence with the long-term redevelopment plan to restore the landscape.

Hannah Haeffner, Innovation & Sustainable Director at The Booth Group, said “This is a huge step in the long-term restoration plan for the quarry, and we can’t wait to get involved in this important project,”

Site Address: Ravenhead Quarry, Chequer Lane, Up Holland, WN8 0DD
